Fork in the road
Phil Rock’s ATM business has boomed from its beginning in his basement to become a $10 million company with its headquarters and warehouse in Minneapolis.
ATM Network now employs 20 people and has thrived despite the sluggish economy. “It’s been picking up,” Rock says. “We had our biggest December on record.”
Rock’s independence also is envious. The 37-year-old is the primary shareholder of the company, able to chart a course and correct as he sees fit.
